The color came
out good, I went from braids to natural, brown to Auburn, Then back
to natural braids. I would like to put in a red Karizma.
I even put some highlights on my eyebrows which was a good idea to
keep my face on the same level as my hair.
There are only two products
that you have to mix, then apply, then your done. (to speed up
the process I applied heat)

I bought KARIZMA hair dye,
because I could not find my regular Optimum hair dye. I've used
Optimum hair dye (pink box) for five years and I love it. the color
is deep and rich and it never leaves your hair dry. Optimum also
last after you relax your hair. Since, Optimum and Karizma are both
made by Soft Sheen I thought that they would be of the same quality.
This is the worst hair dye that I have ever purchased. It suppose to
be permanent color and I have washed my hair four times and the dye
is still running out all over everything. My tub, sinks and most of
my t-shirts are ruined.
I can't believe that they
would charge so much for such an awful product. I will never use
this product again and I will make sure that anyone that I know
won't either.

For those of
you who like to color your hair at home, I *highly* recommend this
hair color. I've had lots of success with Soft Sheen's Optimum Hair
Color in the past, so I felt like I could trust this new Karizma
line. Boy, was I ever right. The color process requires
that you add a pre-conditioning treatment before you do anything
else (the treatment is in the box). Unlike Feria (don't get me
started), you don't have to add any fragrance oil to the colour to
make it smell good... It already does.
The color is a crème
colourant, so it doesn't drip. After rinsing the colour out of
my hair, it felt just a little dry, but then my hair always feels a
little dry after I shampoo, before I condition so it wasn’t out of
the ordinary. After you rinse the color, they suggest that you
follow up with your own conditioning shampoo (that was a first), and
then add their deep conditioning treatment and leave that on for 10
minutes.
You know how
most hair colours say in the commercials that your hair is in better
condition *after* you colour, but that isn't the case? Well, my hair
REALLY is in better condition after the fact, it smells wonderful
even a day later, and the hair feels strong, well-conditioned, and
healthy. It's not quite the colour I wanted, but it now has a
glossy sheen to my hair that was missing over the last few weeks.
I'm so pleased... I know I'll be going back to Karizma when it's
time to colour again.
